Ernesto

“Ernesto” is a animated series aimed at an adult audience, whose background theme deals with the omnipresence of technology in people’s lives and in the job market. Ernesto is a bankrupt businessman, abandoned by his wife and with a passive personality, who tries to rebuild his professional and financial life. Throughout its arc, the protagonist faces the chronic challenges of a society that prioritizes automation over human rights. Throughout the episodes, social and political themes guide the protagonist’s trajectory, who counts on the help of his Cat to rebuild his life.

“Ernesto” is our first short – and series project – in animation. The work is in process, but here are some drawings and animation tests.
